“Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has.”
Margaret Mead
The Roadshow uses the ancient and transformative power of storytelling to open hearts and minds to the challenges we face on this rapidly changing planet. It’s an intergenerational mixture of original music, story, shadow puppetry, laughter, poetry and—we hope!—new ways to think about our actions around our climate and our planet.
People are saying …
…a lovely mix of humor, music, audience participation, imagery and metaphor. The way it approaches the subject matter (the dire state of our planet) isn’t preachy or shaming, but at the same time, doesn’t let us off the hook.
Inspiring, thought-provoking, fun!

…a touching and sweet shadow box theatre piece about how we might rethink the ways we can care for our planet. The show challenges us to change our lives and know that what is good for the world, will be good for us. This family-friendly performance is fresh, simple, elegant and beautifully crafted, and meant for any multi-generational community wanting to dig deeper into the care of our planet and saving our lives.

Through child actors, the authors of this shadow-puppet play help us learn from “Old Tree” and “Turtle” who, with the music and narration, tell us a universal story. You will laugh or shed a tear, and you’ll come away challenged to do your small part for our planet home. Thanks to Spirit of Peace Church for nurturing such values.
